What Makes Our Döner Authentic
Real döner starts with quality meat. We use premium beef and lamb, layered and seasoned with a blend of Turkish spices including cumin, paprika, oregano, and garlic. The meat is stacked on a vertical spit and slow-roasted for hours, allowing the fats to render and the spices to penetrate deep. When you order, we carve thin slices directly from the spit — the way it's been done in Istanbul's streets for generations.
Döner vs. Shawarma vs. Gyro
While all three feature rotating spit-roasted meat, döner kebab is the original — born in Turkey. Shawarma is the Middle Eastern cousin, typically using different spice profiles and bread. Gyro is the Greek adaptation, traditionally served with tzatziki.
